image 前言
機械科一向是居各職業類群之首，是最普遍也是最龐大的一科，其原因是「機械為工業之母」，也是國家工業化的先決條件，國際上在衡量一個國家是否為工業化，往往以該國的機械工業水準為標竿，因此它亦可說是國家文明進步的最主要動力之一。
近年來，我國工業蓬勃發展，所有工業機械設備皆仰賴機械工業為其設計製造，因此所需要的機械設計、製造、操作與維護的專門技術人才不可一日或缺，所以機械科的就業範圍相當的廣泛，同時也是深具發展潛力的行業。
image 設備及教學 (Facilities & Instruction)
實習工場九間，設備齊全，課程規劃著重理論與實用兼顧，教學內容包含機械專業及實習科目，使學生能手腦並用，知能合一，學以致用。

◇Curriculum covers both theoretical and practical sides.
◇Instruction contains both professional and practical training subjects, making students fully use both brawn and brains to put into practice what has been learned and to fulfill themselves.

統整課程，推行整合性教學；培養良好職業道德與正確工作態度；配合區域特色，著重專業技能訓練，全國工業類科學生技藝競賽屢獲佳績。

image 發展及進路 (Development & Promotion of Future Careers)
具備專業知能及創造思考能力，可適應多元化的社會環境；升讀科技大學等技職院校或從事機械之操作維護及機械產品之設計、製造、檢驗等工作。
◇Equip students with expertise and cultivate students’ creative thinking abilities so that students can accommodate themselves to the diversified society.
◇Encourage students to either do the further study in Universities of Science & Technology or to take up occupations concerning mechanical operation & maintenance, and the design, manufacturing and examination of mechanical products.
